Global Strategy

In the last month we have sold more equities. We’ve reduced our overweight in the UK further and increased our underweight in Europe. We have also reduced our Asia ex-Japan position to neutral from overweight. We are still overweight equities. We remain underweight bonds and property. We are overweight cash.

Global Strategy

Our overall allocation remains overweight equities and underweight bonds, property and cash. However, in mid-May we reduced the size of the equity overweight and reduced the size of the cash underweight. We took money out of UK equities and added to our holdings in Latin America. We are now overweight Latin America having been neutral. We are still overweight UK equities.

AEGON Asset Management wins top awards

AEGON Asset Management has scooped two awards at this year’s Money Observer Fund Awards. AEGON Asset Management’s UK Equity Fund managed by Stephen Adams and the Ethical Equity Fund managed by Audrey Ryan, both won the top prize in their respective categories at the annual awards, held in London on Wednesday 28 May 2008.
